Xeomin Injectable Treatments

Lines and wrinkles that come with an aging face are inevitable.

And, unfortunately, everyone will have to go through the realization that they no longer look as youthful as they once did.

However, there is no reason to simply accept not feeling as confident in your own skin as you once were thanks to injectable Xeomin.

These bothersome lines and wrinkles can come from many factors including cellular changes, depletion of collagen, genetics, and the environment. Although, the most common reason for the appearance of these lines is from repetitive facial expressions, such as frowning or squinting.

The Rejuva Center at Williams offers Xeomin injections to treat fine lines and deeper etched-in wrinkles that naturally occur during the aging process.

Pre and Post Instructions

What is Xeomin?

Xeomin is an FDA-approved injectable neuromodulator, that is similar to Botox and Dysport®.

All three of these injectable neurotoxins work to smooth and soften lines on the face by relaxing the facial muscles. Branded Botox may be the longest-standing toxin on the market, but Xeomin is known as the purest neurotoxin as it does not have additional accessory proteins. Some even coin Xeomin as the “Whole Foods” of neurotoxins due to its clean molecular makeup.

Xeomin has been proven to be equally effective to both Botox and Dysport® in head-to-head studies.

Xeomin was first approved by the FDA in 2010 and has become a “fan favorite toxin” among top dermatologists and plastic surgeons, used by celebrities including Christie Brinkley and Gwyneth Paltrow.

How Do Xeomin Injectable Treatments Work?

The Botulinum purified neurotoxin, Xeomin, is able to block nerve activity in the muscles in the area in which it is injected.

This causes a reduction in the muscle activity that is responsible for excessive muscle movement which in turn results in creases of the skin known as “wrinkles.”

Both Xeomin and Dysport® injectable toxins are primarily used to correct the glabellar also known as frown lines between the eyebrows and commonly referred to as “the 11 lines”.

The brow area can develop deeper wrinkles because of the numerous expressions one makes using their eyebrows, from stern looks to confusion.

Xeomin is used to relax these muscles to reduce the prominent lines that can appear between the eyes.
